We just caught a glimpse at the future of the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers clinched the top seed in the Western Conference Monday night after they defeated the Utah Jazz 116-108.
It’ll be the first time the Lakers play as the No. 1 seed since 2009-10, when they won their most recent championship. They’ll also snap a six-year playoff drought dating back to the 2012-13 season.
But enough with the history — Monday night wasn’t about the past. It was about the future.
The future — and maybe even the present — is Anthony Davis.
