Despite the Dallas Mavericks’ open pursuit of DeAndre Jordan current C Tyson Chandler recently indicated that he’d like to remain with the franchise where he won his only NBA Championship in 2011.  Chandler will become a free agent Wednesday and is looking to have a yearly salary somewhere between $12 and $15 million.

“At the end of the day, the franchise has to make the best decision for itself. Of course, I still feel like I have a lot to give. But I’ll make the best decision for myself and my family, and [the team will] make the best decision for the organization.”

“I’m not a free-agent guy,” Chandler said. “I would definitely like to get things over with as soon as possible.”
