Reports show that the Utah Jazz fear that G Alec Burks may be out long term due to his latest shoulder issue.  Burks was slated to undergo surgery during the off-season but if he decides to go under the knife at this time he will lost for the remainder of the NBA season.  Burks initially injured his shoulder early in December but has dealt with recurring shoulder issues since his days at Colorado.  For the season Burks has averaged 13.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.

Update:  The Jazz have announced that Alec Burks will undergo season ending surgery on his left shoulder.
