When Derrick Rose plays for the Bulls, the results are often positive.  Rose suited up and took the court in Boston, scoring 21 points, with 12 in the third quarter to help Chicago beat Boston, 109-102.  Joakim Noah, sees the difference when Rose plays.

“Anytime he is on the court, he makes the team better,” Noah said.

Jimmy Butler made some critical free-throws in the final minute to give Chicago a 104-102 lead.  Butler scored 22 points. Paul Gasol had another double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Noah also scored 15 and grabbed 14 boards. He played after resting his sore left knee.

Coach Tom Thibobeau wants to see Rose on the court.  “Like I said, if he is healthy, he should play.  If he is not healthy, he should not play,” Thibodeau commented. The issue is keeping Rose healthy.  When he is on the court, he helps the team.  It is hard to see him nicked up with a muscle sprain, and he can’t go.

Rose, is feeling it though. “The confidence is through the roof,” Rose said. “I don’t need more confidence, I just need to play.”  If Rose is healthy, then watch out league.

Chicago is 10-6 overall, and 8-3 on the road this season, best in the Eastern Conference.
