Hardwood Quick Take: Suns Fire Earl Watson

Just as a tweet by the seemingly disgruntled guard Eric Bledsoe made the rounds on social media Sunday afternoon, ESPN is reporting that the Phoenix Suns have fired head coach Earl Watson.  Watson amassed a record of 33-85 in 118 games for the Suns who were clearly in rebuild mode.

Starting the season 0-3, the Suns was stuck in a tailspin that included the worst opening night loss in the history of the NBA.  Reports show that Suns management are currently interviewing current Suns assistants for the now vacant head coaching position with Ty Corbin and Jay Triano both having head coaching experience in the NBA.
