Reports indicate that the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings discussed the framework of trade centered on DeMarcus Cousins.  It had been rumored for days the teams had previously discussed a deal despite claims from the Kings that Cousins would not be traded. 

The possible framework would see the Kings receiving a package of the number 2 overall pick in Thursday’s NBA draft, Julius Randle, and Jordan Clarkson in exchange for Cousins and Carl Landry.
