Pau Gasol, the versatile big man of the Chicago Bulls was named to the 2nd All-NBA team. It’s the 4th time Gasol has been named to an all-NBA team.
Gasol averaged 18.5 points per game and grabbed 11.8 rebounds and had one of his best seasons in his 14 year career, his first as a Bull. Gasol came to the Bulls in a heralded free-agent deal last summer and was a key figure in the improved offense during the regular season.
Gasol joins Russell Westbrook (OKC), Chris Paul (LA Clippers), DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings) and LaMarcus Aldridge (Portland Trailblazers) on the second team. These players all had terrific seasons and were named to the All-Star team during the past season.
